The Mommy Workout

I am proud to say that I am back to the weight and size I was before Isaac. I get asked all the time how I lost all the baby weight and I always answer, "didn't do anything really". This is not really true, I just don't' consciously do anything to lose weight. So here is my mommy workout and "diet"...
Forget V8 and wheat grass smoothies, I need straight coffee, and lots of it. The morning workout now consist of hanging clothes on the line, this I guess would be my warm up. I then engage in some cardio, pulling the wagon, with an extra 60 pounds inside, round and round the back yard. Then I break for another cup of joe (or three) and some computer time....every five minutes or so sprinting across the house to potty a child, soothe a child, turn off the sink, move a chair back under the table, yell at a child, let a dog in/out, clean up a potty accident...you get the idea. My afternoon workout is a combination of light lifting and cardio, mostly spent picking up the same toys off the floor over and over again. I spend some time in the sauna (the kitchen, over a hot sink and stove) I shed at least a couple pounds in sweat. I have incorporated some yoga moves while preparing dinner, where I balance a 18mth old on the hip. There is more sprinting involved before actually being able to sit down and enjoy eating dinner. After dinner there is a cool down that involves hanging up clothes while bathing two kids.
My diet consist mostly of caffeine, pancakes, peanut butter sandwiches, bananas, salads, pasta, rice, beans, veggies and whatever else I can munch on while chasing after the kids. Most of this is consumed by Aralyn through the breastmilk she still gets quite frequently.
so that is this mom's regime.
